Augustus is an undergraduate student majoring in Quantitative Biology at USC Dornsife. He is interested in non-equilibrium molecular motors and how their kinetics give rise to organization at much larger scales, and works on coarse-grained polymer simulations of cohesin-mediated loop extrusion. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in physical biology with a focus on active matter.
